Bindlestiff Cirkus Show This Friday !
June 24th, 2010Winter wrap up
April 22nd, 2010I just put the skis away and there is a lot to put in here about all of the skiing and the skating this winter. It was great !!
I , with the help of many people including Dave Sacco, cleared off my neighbors pond and flooded it with Fred Rudman’s pump.
This lead to good ice conditions and some pretty good pond hockey.
Also, my last skis of the year were done in the Gaspesie National Park of Canada. I will post some pictures soon.
Now on to the comedy !
Dave Cox and I are hard at work on the shows new props which seem to include a boat and an airplane. More to come.
Needless to say, the work should be worth the hours.
The show at Proctors went well and hopefully we can book the GE Theatre in the fall for a full
run.
Talk to you soon,
Pat.
Paul Mitchell Fundraiser at Proctors
March 11th, 2010Dave Cox and I will be at Proctors in Schenectady, New York Wednesday, March 31st. The event is a fundraiser for a new Paul Mitchell Salon School that is opening across the street from the Proctors Theatre. I will have more information on here shortly but below is an ad that is running now.
Thanks and hope to see you there.
Millbrook School Circus Week
March 9th, 2010I just finished a long week at the Millbrook School teaching circus to high school kids for Sean’s Circus Theatricks. It was a great week and the kids did a presentation on Saturday with the theme of waking up for class tired in the morning. Of course !
I would like to thank the group ( Amelia, Auggie, Bob, Emily, Jalaaney, Nick, Ryan, Sydney and Walter ) and Clara Mulberry for having us back again.
Also, thanks to the kitchen staff for providing us with amazing food everyday. I was stronger at the end of the week, in part because I ate so well.
The weekend of Feb. 27th I went to see the New York High School Wrestling Championships in Albany and ran into my old coach Chuck Foster and his son Chip. Also my old teammate John Gallo, whose son is now a really good wrestler.
Chip introduced me to a Cornell wrestling teammate, Roland, who I find out is a long distance unicyclist. You see how all this connects ?
Anyhow, Roland and his friend Steve came out to play uni-hockey in Pittsfield and had a pretty unique experience. All pun intended. Hopefully we will see those 2 guys again.
Here are some pictures from the circus camp at Millbrook :
